South Jersey Underground is a bi-monthly magazine that is sometimes published monthly. There is no formal structure to how many authors or artists are included in each issue and no restrictions on submitted content. Based in New Jersey, with a slight leaning to that states artists and writers, the magazine accepts submissions from everywhere, and has published work from Germany to Connecticut, and even Canada. We have recently opened up some new submission areas including: Music, Essays, and Books for Review. Please see below for the guidelines and also updated guidelines for Art, Fiction,and Poetry. *Short Stories, Flash Fiction, and Book Excerpts welcome
*Word count must be from one word to as many as it takes to complete your piece
*Please submit only one piece per issue and we'll try to respond in a
   timely fashion

Books for Review

*Please send books for review as an attachment or pasted in the body of an e-mail

*Please include a bio and other pertinent information such as publisher and availability

Poetry

*Please submit up to six poems pasted into the body of an e-mail with the subject line

*South Jersey Underground acquires First North American Rights and
   On-Line Rights upon submission, All Rights revert back to author/artist following 
   publication or notification.
